Work, Work, and More Work

I have had no time for blogs or much of anything except work the last several days.

If I am not at work, I am doing yardwork.

The other day I decided to clean out my extra room that gets used for storage and all of my craft stuff. What a mess! I am reworking some shelves that are in there, so everything that was on the shelves is now scattered all over the place. Maybe I should just throw it all in the trash since I never have time to do crafts anymore. Why am I keeping it?

Then I think maybe I will make some Christmas presents this year. Christmas is five months from today. If I start now, I might have time to finish something! But even that seems like work right now.

All work and no play makes me a very dull person.

Hey when you finish up there I got a room or two that needs some work….;)
I too have been keeping busy with the yardwork.

If you throw your craft stuff away…then you will want it someday. At least that’s what happens with me.

Good luck and try to find some time for fun in there too! ;)

I keep thinking about addressing my Christmas cards this summer. Always something else to do. Understand your dilemma. Isn’t yard work supposed to be fun? Blogging for fun?

Fun, I think I remember what that is!
Usually this is my down time to enjoy the yard and the weather but not this year.

I hope that you soon get a chance to take a deep breath and indulge in something that you truly enjoy!

I can complete relate. I have an entire walk-in closet full of craft stuff – cross stitch, crochet yarn, scrapbooking, even candle making supplies and it seems I don’t have a minute to spare for any of that stuff. I did come across my wreath hoops and floral wire the other day and am determined to make at least one Christmas wreath this year. OH! And I found my pumpkin carving kit! Hmmmm…maybe if I pencil a day over a future weekend to do this stuff, I will be able to fit a few projects in…..
